One of the key drivers of success in the delivery of any project is having the right people. A team of talented people with good experience can achieve more with less, because they’re better at what they do, develop better solutions, and avoid the pitfalls that trap less experienced people. In short, better people means better ideas. Better ideas means better solutions and better solutions increase the chances of winning projects and delivering them profitably. Forming an excellent team isn’t simple, and doing so is even more challenging for major infrastructure projects, because the location of the next project is almost inevitably somewhere new, and getting the best people there, particularly senior people can be problematic.
